LIFE ON A MISSION
LIFE ON A MISSION
Ephesians 1:18 KJV
“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,”.
Life on a mission is made possible by what you see and how you see life. What people see propels them to act and do things the way they do. You will never be able to understand a man until you see what he sees. You will never know what drives a man until he opens up to you about what he sees. We may all stand at the same place and do the same things but not see the same things. This is what makes the difference between people in their approach to life.
Paul prayed for the Ephesians, that the eyes of their understanding will be enlightened, so they would know the hope of God’s calling. In other words, he prayed that they would see things from the view point of God. You see, when God brings you to His level, to see what he sees, a mission would be born on the spot.
God drew Moses to the bush that burned yet not consumed, all to make him see things from a divine perspective. That one sight propelled him for the mission for another fourty years. The bush was the nation of Israel and the fire was the affliction they were going through, but were not consumed; the more they afflicted them, the more they grew and multiplied. But God wanted to end the fire of affliction once and for all, and Moses was the man for the job. However, he needed him to first see from God’s point of view. I pray that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened today so you can see what your Heavenly Father sees in Jesus Name.
- Lord please open my eyes to see what You see in Jesus Name.
- Lord please ignite my spirit to be on fire for Your mission for my life in Jesus Name.
When God brings you to His level, to see what he sees, a mission would be born on the spot.
