GENERATING FINANCES THROUGH DIVINE IDEAS
2 Kings 4:1-7 KJV
“Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.”
A man is not poor because he does not have money, houses, flashy cars, beautiful clothes etc. There are many people who possess all these things who are really not rich, because they can become poor again. All these things are so temporal and transient. A man who is truly poor is a man without IDEAS.
It takes an idea to generate increase in finances and in anything else. An Idea is a very powerful and unstoppable force, such that Victor Hugo was quoted as saying “an invasion of an army can be resisted, but not an idea whose time has come”. One single idea can bail you out from poverty, business decline, marital failure etc. The real capital for any man’s business is not really money but the idea behind the business. Artists use a light bulb to symbolize an idea most times; it is like a light bulb coming on in the mind. Ideas are products of powerful imaginations of the mind.
Ideas are products of profitable thinking; that was why Henry Ford was quoted as saying that “thinking is the hardest work there is, and that is why few people engage in it”. The men of Babel came up with an idea and went to work with it, and it took God to stop them. Everything the eyes can see today, first existed in someone’s mind as an idea before it was given physical life. That is why a man will describe his invention as his “brain child”. So, while enjoying the brain children of other people, please begin to conceive and generate yours.
The grace to generate ideas is in abundance, receive it in Jesus Name.

ii. Ask God to give you an idea that will change the world and change your life forever.
Prayer
-Lord please give me an idea that will change lives forever in Jesus Name.
-Please Lord kindly fertilize my mind in Jesus Name.
