GOD IS IN ZION
(Jeremiah 8:19 KJV)
“Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country: Is not the Lord in Zion? is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with strange vanities”?
In the Old Testament, Zion is symbolic of today’s church. So, when the question is asked about the Lord not being in zion, it simply connotes an abnormality, because Zion and the Lord are synonymous with each other. It is like saying the that the Lord is not amongst His church today, when He has said that He is present where two or three are gathered in His Name. He doesn’t need to be begged or invited, it is automatic for Him to be there once the number of persons gets to two in a fellowship. So, the Lord is Zion.
There are a few scriptures that confirms that He is truly in Zion, and as such you ought to be healed, except you didn’t show up at all in Zion (church). The book of Hebrews 12:22-24 tries to lay out what Zion is made up of, and what happens when we gather:
-Zion is the city of the living God.
-Zion is the heavenly Jerusalem.
-In Zion there is an innumerable company of Angels.
-It is the general assembly and the church of the first born which are written in heaven; (God has no second borns, we are all first borns).
-We come to the God the judge of all.
-Zion is the place of the spirits of just men made perfect.
-We come to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant.
-And then in Zion is the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than the blood of Abel.
In addition to all these, the book of Obadiah in the seventeenth verse, it is clearly stated that in Zion (which is symbolic of today’s church), there shall be deliverance there; which is freedom from oppression and oppressors. Also, there shall be holiness in Zion, which is the fixing of our character and lifestyles. Then as a result of the forgoing, we will be able to possess our possessions, that God had already prepared for us. So, the Lord is in Zion all the time, as such we ought to be healed. We will look further into why people are not healed or helped in Zion. But receive grace to get all that is yours when we gather in Jesus Name.

iii. Determine to get all that is yours each time we gather to worship and to receive His word.

-Lord please reveal anything that hinders me from receiving what is mine as I fellowship with the brethren in Zion (the church).
-I possess my possession in zion in Jesus Name.
