WALK IN HIM
(Colossians 2:6-7 KJV)
“As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving”.
There are steps to being your very best in God. It begins with first receiving the Lord Jesus Christ into your life. Confessing Jesus as the son of God and then accepting His sacrifice on the cross of calvary. But it doesn’t end there, there must be a conscious fellowship with God that will boost your relationship with Him. It is called walking in Him. To walk in Him is to live in Him, conduct your affairs in God, and to operate entirely in Him.
Do not just walk in God but he rooted in Him. Dig deep your roots in God to the point of immovability. You take roots by digging deep into the word of God. Reading, studying and meditating on the word of God daily. As you do this, the life of God gets established in you and all you put your hands to do. As you do this, you will experience a building up in Him as well. When you take root downwards, it will be only natural that you will experience a building up in Him as well.
One critical element of walking in Him is that you will abound or increase in Him by thanksgiving. You do not want to be stagnant in God, and the only way to experience steady increase is by the means of thanksgiving. In every aspect of your walk with God, let thanksgiving punctuate every step you make, beginning today in Jesus Name.
Receive grace to walk in Him, grow in Him, be rooted in Him and established in Him in Jesus Name.
