WHY WERE YOU BORN?

“Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice”.
It is not possible to understand God ahead of time; at best we can know bits and pieces of things about Him here and there. Just like a puzzle, we get to see things unfolding and evolving without a clear picture as to where everything is headed. But sooner or later, in the course of time, things start getting clearer to us. We soon get to understand why things happen in our lives the way they do. So I dare say we can only understand God in retrospect.
But you do not have to wait to be properly positioned to fulfill the reason why you were born. While you are waiting to fully understand the reason for your existence, you will need to do and know the following things so that your coming into this world is not wasted.
1. Know that nothing exists without God’s express permission. You are in this world by God’s decision and permission. You are therefore not a mistake.
2. God does not create useless things or people. Everything and everyone God created is useful for something. You have a purpose.
3. Everything God made is an answer to a problem in this world. You are not a problem; you are a solution to a problem in this world. You were not an afterthought of God, rather you are an arrow shot from eternity into time to hit a target, make an impact and then have a safe arrival back in eternity where you came from.
4. Be destiny conscious. It is only when you become destiny conscious that you will escape every trap of the enemy to derail and frustrate your existence. Constantly live with these questions in your mind; “Why was I born? Why am I here? What does God expect of me? What can I do? What is my assignment?” Etc.
Jesus made it clear that He was not just born, but was sent for a cause and to fulfill a purpose. You were also born to accomplish a purpose, and you came into this world for a cause. Find that cause and fulfill that destiny.
Do these and more, as the Lord will reveal to you and you will surely fulfill the reason for your birth in Jesus Name.
Action Points
i. Thoroughly practice the fourth point and be consistent with it.
ii. Study the life of great people you believe fulfilled destiny, learn from them and be wise.
Prayer
-Lord I receive a revelation from you today as to why I was born into this world in Jesus Name.
-Father I refuse to just pass through this world without making lasting impact in Jesus Name.
-Lord I refuse to leave this world the way I met it in Jesus Name.
Nugget
You are an arrow shot from eternity into time to hit a target, make an impact and then have a safe arrival back in eternity where you came from.
