WISDOM FROM ABOVE
(James 3:17)

TYPES OF WISDOM
James 3:14-15 NKJV
“But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.”
If there is wisdom from above, it also means that there is wisdom from beneath. One of the easiest ways to know the kind and level of wisdom that a man is operating with is in his relationships with people. When you operate in bitterness, envy and strife, you are actually operating in a kind of wisdom, but certainly not from above.
God clearly categorized all other kinds of wisdom under a few headings. And they are as follows:
1. Earthly Wisdom
This is otherwise known as common sense wisdom. Many people call it natural wisdom. This is the kind of wisdom that makes a baby know that he/she has to suck to survive, it is the kind of wisdom that prompts a human being to dodge a coming car so as not to get killed. It is survival wisdom, and we were all born with it. That is why many call it common sense wisdom, because you do not need to be taught this kind of wisdom. But common sense wisdom will not take you very far in life.
2. Sensual wisdom
This can be further referred to as intellectual wisdom. This kind of wisdom comes from education or training. All that you receive after training or schooling is sensual wisdom, because it is the building of your senses in order to make you solid and able to thrive in life. It is better and superior to common sense wisdom, because it makes you employable, it is the learning that increases your earning power. It is a very great way to empower any one. It is a powerful kind of wisdom, but there is a wisdom that is above it and we’ll be discussing that tomorrow.
May God enable you to operate better in common sense wisdom and in intelligence in Jesus Name.

i. Expose yourself to daily learning, trainings and teachings from today.
ii. Never bypass any opportunity to learn from today.
Prayer
-Lord please raise my appetite for learning in Jesus Name.
-Father please help me to have more opportunities for empowerment by knowledge in Jesus Name.

Sensual wisdom is the learning that increases your earning power; It is a very great way to empower any one.
