THE GREAT ASSIGNMENT
(Luke 14:21-23 KJV)

WHERE IS YOUR BROTHER/SISTER?
(Genesis 4:9 KJV)
“And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper”?
The first question that God ever asked man was “where are you?”. He asked this to Adam after he had disappointed God by eating what he was not supposed to eat. God needed to restore him, but God needed to know where Adam was, how far he had fallen and how bad things were with him at the time. The second question God ever asked was to Cain, the son of Adam, and the question was “where is your brother?”. After God must have found and blessed you, the next project will be your brother or neighbour.
When Jesus was done saving Andrew, the next project was his brother Simon. Andrew first located his brother Simon and brought him in to the fold of Jesus. God’s question to you is where is your brother, your sister, your neighbour, your colleagues, your other family members? etc.
By that God is saying “why are they not in faith with you, why are they not in church with you, why are they headed for hell while you are here? etc. The reason for these questions is because God is interested in their salvation, and you are the closest representative of God to these people that He keeps bringing to your mind. Arise today and accept the challenge for your brother’s salvation today in Jesus Name.
Action Points
i. Make a list of all the people around you that are not saved and begin some prayer of intercession for them.
ii. Determine some steps and moves you will make towards bringing them to Jesus.
iii. Consistently pray for them till they are saved.
iv. Tell someone about Jesus today and invite someone to the next church Service today without fail.
Prayer
-Lord please divinely endow me with enough grace to reach every neighbour and family member for you in Jesus Name.
Nugget
You are the closest representative of God to the people that He keeps bringing to your mind.
