THE GREAT ASSIGNMENT

GOD DOES NOT BLESS FOR NOTHING
(1 Chronicles 22:11 KJV)
“Now, my son, the Lord be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of the Lord thy God, as he hath said of thee”.
God is a God of purpose, intention, objectivity and deliberateness. God does not just do things for the sake of doing them, there is always a purpose that births an action of God. God never acts until there is a purpose on ground. In Ephesians 1:11, the scriptures declares that God does all things after the counsel of His own will; meaning that God takes counsels from His will before doing anything. Therefore, if God decides to bless you with prosperity, it would be for a purpose He had already determined.
In Solomon’s case, the purpose was clear; ” the Lord be with the; and prosper thou, and build the house of the Lord thy God, as He hath said of thee”. So, the question is, “after the prosperity, what next?”. The prosperity God sends to you must have a direction, it must have a purpose or an assignment it was meant to accomplish. For Solomon, it was to build the house of God. What would it be for you?
God does not send money to you for the purpose of gratifying your flesh or your lust. Greed dies when your money has an assignment; lust and vanity gives way to purpose and destiny. Esther, (the queen) would have missed it all, were it not for a Mordecai who woke her from her spiritual slumber, by saying “who knows whether you have come into the kingdom for such a time as this?”, (Esther 4:14). Then and only then did it dawn on her that all she had been through in life with the loss of her parents, poverty, captivity and poverty was to bring her to this point in her life where she would use her influence and affluence to save a whole nation, and to help millions of people.
If you would find the purpose of God for your life right, then I am sure God will have no problems blessing you with whatever it is that you need, be it marriage, children, money, anointing, job, favours, etc.
Action Points
Carefully examine all the blessings and benefits of God in your life and seek to know His will in all of them.
Prayer
Lord teach me your will that I may be better positioned for your blessings in Jesus Name.

The prosperity God sent to you has a direction, a purpose or an assignment it was meant to accomplish.
