BREAKTHROUGH BY PRAYER
(James 5:16 NIV)

PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT
1 Corinthians 14:2 KJV
“For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries”.
One of the biggest blessing God ever gave to man is the person of the Holy Spirit. As the Holy Spirit is holy, one of His assignments in our lives is to make us holy, and one way He does that is by giving us a prayer language soon as He makes an entrance into our lives. God knew that communication between man and Him would be a problem, as such He sent His Spirit to teach us how to communicate with the father. When He first made His landing in Acts chapter 2, He arrived with a new language and sat as fire on everyone.
Then, Jesus confirmed that this sign would follow them who believed in Him, He said they would speak with new tongues; (Mark 16:17). It is for everyone who believes (everyone who is born again); and not for pastors or apostles alone. Paul explains that when we pray in tongues, we are not speaking to men but to God. No man is supposed to understand you except God, it is spirit to Spirit communication between you and your heavenly Father.
Also, when you pray in tongues you get to speak mysteries. Mysteries about what? About everything and anything. There are too many things that we do not know around us and about us; but by the help of the Holy Spirit we are helped in our prayer language to address, express and deal with them before God, even when our understanding is unfruitful. It is therefore a huge disadvantage not to know how to fellowship with God in this manner. Receive grace to flow in the prayer language of the Holy Spirit in Jesus Name.
Action Points/Prayer
i. If you have not been baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of praying in other tongues, you owe it to yourself to seek that infilling today.
ii. Ask the Holy Spirit for that encounter.
iii. Seek audience with the ministry’s counselors for some help in that regard.
Nugget
There are too many things that we do not know around us and about us; but by the help of the Holy Spirit we are helped in our prayer language to address, express and deal with them before God.
