BREAKTHROUGH BY PRAYER

HOW TO PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
(James 5:16 KJV)
“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much”.
Prayer without ceasing is a possibility. Many are doing it and many have done it successfully, you will soon be in the list of those who have accomplished this feat in Jesus Name. Prayer without ceasing is two dimensional; firstly, it means praying all day, literally; this talks of maintaining a prayer mode throughout the day. Secondly, it is maintaining an unbroken prayer Fellowship with God on a daily basis.
One secret to accomplishing this is to never permit any unconfessed sin in your life. Yes, we sin mistakenly every now and then, and God made provision for that by encouraging us to confess our sins according to 1 John 1:9. God promised that He will be faithful and just to forgive us, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. But our text talks of confessing one to another that we may be healed. So, whereas God may have forgiven you, you will still need to confide in someone of spiritual significance that you may be healed.
The truth is, if prayer does not keep you from sinning, sin will keep you from praying, and when it happens so often, it will keep frustrating your prayer life. You have to confess or confide in someone so that both your mind and spirit can be healed. The reason is, sin causes an injury in your soul and spirit, and they will require some bit of exposure for speedy healing. Any sin, particularly besetting sins that you expose will lose its grip on you, and that will allow you to run a ceaseless prayer life. Receive grace to pray without ceasing in Jesus Name.
