BREAKTHROUGH BY PRAYER

NOT WITHOUT MY FAMILY
(Joshua 2:12-13 KJV)
Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the Lord, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father’s house, and give me a true token: And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death”.
It is utter ignorance to make the mistake of thinking that your salvation was about you alone. That is not just ignorance but gross ignorance. The plan of salvation from the word “go” has been about the next generation. God created man in the beginning, with a plan to have His image propagated by biological reproduction. So, when God saved you, it was with a plan to reach your entire family. To be saved without your family is not the plan and it could threaten your own salvation as well.
God seeks for one among them, (note: “among them”) to form a hedge and stand in the gap for God’s operation among them; Ezekiel 22:30. A hedge is a protection and a bridge, it is what stands between two pieces of land. You were strategically placed in your family help them against premature death without God, and against an eternity without God as well. To fail in that assignment is to have defeated one of the major reasons why God saved you ahead of others in your family in the first place.
Rahab caught this understanding and refused to be saved from the destruction in Jericho without her family. She mentioned them by categories, almost by names. What are you waiting for?, begin a prayer project for your family today, and do not stop till you see a blood washed family in Jesus Name. Receive grace to intercede for your family’s salvation today in Jesus Name.

i. Form a prayer board that contains all the names of your family members.
ii. Mention their names daily in prayer.
iii. Make gentle moves to preach to them well.
iv. Thank God for their salvation.
Prayer
-Lord I thank you for the salvation of all my family members in Jesus Name.
-I declare that none of them will make it to hell in Jesus Name.
-Lord please save my family by the blood of Jesus, in Jesus Name.
Nugget
When God saved you, it was with a plan to reach your entire family. To be saved without your family could threaten your own salvation.
