BREAKTHROUGH BY PRAYER

PRAYER WILL BRING GOD’S HAND UPON YOU
(1 Kings 18:42,46 KJV)
“So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel”.
When you look closely at people and their operations, you will see that there is a hand on everyone. Every person has a hand on their lives, and that hand determines what happens in their lives, what is possible and what is not possible. All these are determined by the kind of hand on people’s lives.
Some people have the hand of their grandparents on them, which makes them successful in a particular trade and certain areas of life but not in others. You could see some people speak, work or do business and tell that there is a particular hand on them. My wife, for instance is carrying some of her father’s hand on her life. This drives her into the academic field in an effortless manner, and now she is doing her PhD after being a medical doctor. But the challenge with a lot of people who are not blessed with other hands on them is that they get limited and can’t go beyond a certain point.
When the hand of God is upon you, excellence becomes a natural consequence in your life each time. Elijah has God’s hand upon his life, and he excelled in everything he attempted. He excelled at prophesying, as he was a major prophet on the land. And when to came to running, he also excelled by outrunning the chariot of a king on foot. Why? It was because the hand of God was upon Him. The hand of God is responsible for speed in life. But God’s hand will not just come upon you, you must pray, you must have a prayer life, and prayer must be your lifestyle. Receive grace to build a strong prayer life, and begin to enjoy the hand of God in Jesus Name.
