BELIEVE GOD FOR YOUR CHILDREN
(Job 1:5 KJV)
“And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually”.
I don’t care how naughty and how crazy your children may be, so long as they came from your loins, you have great powers in and over their lives. Your prayers for them are very heavy and weighty in the realm of the spirit. Your declarations over them carry great and powerful consequences. So, instead of worrying or complaining, begin to raise altars for them and see God take them over.
Job had the practice of praying and offering sacrifices on behalf of his children to cover them for any error or mistakes they may have made that would expose them to the devil. He did so by building altars and offering sacrifices for them regularly. We know that the children died, but that was by some behind the scenes arrangement to test Job. But not that they died due to carelessness or error, nor anything of that sort.
Perhaps, the one thing that Job failed to do was to teach his children the ways of the Lord so they could confront the enemy by themselves as well. Be that as it may, we can see that Job was a very careful father who knew how to cover his children. Why not begin this practice in your home?
Action Points
i. Plead the blood of Jesus on your children each day.
ii. Pray with them from time to time and anoint them with oil, for powerful manifestations in their lives.
iii. Sacrifice seeds and other kinds of givings on their behalf. You can label envelopes with their names on each, with solid offerings in each.
iv. Arrange mentoring sessions with them, where you can teach them the things that have helped you thus far.
Prayer
-Lord I cover my children in the blood for Jesus.
-I decree goodness, blessings and favours for them in Jesus Name.
Nugget
Instead of worrying or complaining over your children, begin to raise altars for them and see God take them over.
