HEALTH AND CURE
(Jeremiah 33:3,6 KJV)
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth”.
One of the most blessed things we get to enjoy from the Lord is the ability to call upon Him, anyhow, anytime and anywhere. It is said in Romans 10:13 that “whosoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved”. First note the word “whosoever”. Meaning, just about anyone anywhere. Secondly, when you call you shall be saved; to be saved here means to be redeemed, delivered, healed, prospered, etc. when we are in any kind of situation calling upon the Lord is the best thing to do. Start calling on the Lord for that matter and He has promised to do a few things as recorded in our text.
-The first thing God will do will be to answer you. God does not deny His Name, when He is called He answers without denying or shying away. The point is you must know when He answers you. You must be sensitive to discern His answers.
-Secondly, God said He would show you great and mighty things that you didn’t know. One of the ways He answers is by showing you things you didn’t know. He causes you to gain knowledge and to become aware of what would make your life better. Once ignorance is taken out of the way, bondage ends at whatever level. He said my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, that’s why He shows you things.
-The next thing He does is to reveal to you things like the abundance of peace and truth. When we call, God reveals. Don’t call and sit by without an expectation from God, because He will reveal something to you. He will reveal to you the secret of cure and health. As far as your health is concerned God will first reveal the secret of health to you. Ask Him to show you the secret of health or sickness-free life. You don’t have to be sick another day in your life. But should you get sick, the next thing He will show you will be cure. That is part of the revelation of abundance of peace and truth. There is nothing our God cannot cure. Beyond science and all the ways by which we get treated, God can reveal something to you that will take the strangest sickness away from you forever.
A young man with very bad and embarrassing breath called upon the Lord after many failed attempts to cure himself of it. And in the dream of the night he was instructed to go and take some vitamin c tablets, and that marked the end of the affliction. The question is, what is the relationship between bad breath and vitamin c? It is cure that has not worked for anyone else, it was simply a revelation for him only.
May the Lord reveal health and cure to you today in Jesus Name.
