YOUR FIGHTING STRATEGY FOR 2025
2 Samuel 23:9-10 KJV
“And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to battle, and the men of Israel were gone away: He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the Lord wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil”.
Let me give you a fighting strategy for the rest of 2025. The strategy is not a new skill or some fresh revelation, but a very simple wisdom. It is the wisdom of Tenacity. To lack tenacity is to have a repeat failure of yesteryears. You will not fail this year in Jesus Name.
To be tenacious is to be solid, adamant, not easily broken and persistent. It is to never give up, and it is to never accept defeat no matter what happens. It is to be strong in the face of adversity and difficulties. There is a group of people that satan fears like no man’s business, and they are tenacious-never-give-up kind of people. Even James admonished us to know that only resisting the devil will make him flee from you (James 4:7).
Our text reveals how Eleazar the son of Dodo fought till his hands clave to the sword. In other words, his hands and the sword became one. He went into a serious fighting mode, never to let go of the sword. It was a posture that made a clear statement; more like saying: “I am not about to end this fight any time soon, until I win”. That is the strategy you need for 2025. Because Eleazar’s hands clave to the sword, God wrought a great victory that day. Victory is guaranteed if God sees that you are not the type that gives up. Too many people lose in life because they cannot stand the pressure of the fight for long.
I pray for all the grace you will need to bring you all the victories you desire in 2025 in Jesus Name.

i. Revisit all the battles you lost in past years and begin a solid fight.
ii. Ask the Lord for a tenacious spirit from now on.
Prayer
-Lord I thank you for today’s word in Jesus Name.
-I apply for the grace that makes tenacity a reality in Jesus Name.
-Lord I decree that the last time I suffered a defeat is the last time forever in Jesus Name.
