HOW TO LAST IN WEALTH
3 John 1:2 KJV
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
It is one thing to become rich, but it is another thing to be prosperous. A rich man is not necessarily a prosperous man, because riches can be a product of an event you may not be able to really explain, while prosperity is the product of a well grounded mindset that led to some unique set of choices and decisions.
A thief can be said to be rich, but not prosperous. The truth is because prosperity begins from the mind and spirit. A prosperous mind is really prosperous even when he or she has not yet seen the physical manifestation of that prosperity. You must know that a man will end up becoming what he has been in his mind; because “as he thinketh in his heart, so is he”. Proverbs 23:7. So, the quality of your mind is what determines the quality of your life eventually.
Lasting in wealth therefore is determined by constant investment into the mind and spirit. Don’t just look for a miracle in your finances, but engage in sound financial practices. Success that is not predictable and duplicatable cannot be termed as success for real, and may not last. If you can’t tell the steps and choices you took that made you rich, you will not be able to repeat or teach anyone about it. The reason is simple; whatever you did to become rich is what you will continue to do in order to remain rich. Wealth maintenance costs twice as much as wealth acquisition. It is always costly to maintain anything than it is to get it. That is why many people do not last at the top of the financial ladder.
You will arrive at the top in Jesus Name.
Action Points/Prayer
-Lord please give me the grace to constantly invest in my mind in Jesus Name.
-Lord please undo all kinds of negative mindset that leads to poverty in Jesus Name.
-Lord please teach me the secrets to sustainable and durable riches in Jesus Name.
