HOW TO INCREASE ALL ROUND
(Proverbs 4:18 KJV)
“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”
There is no decrease or downward turn in God’s economic system. There is no where in the scriptures where it is so recorded, that someone started with God at a high level and then ended up in a low place. Where such records are found the reasons will not be so fare fetched as well. Jesus came to give us life, and life in abundance according to John 10:10. Peter said grace and peace is multiplied to us through the knowledge of Jesus, and that we have been given all things that pertain to life and godliness; according to 2Peter 2:2-3. Then Paul the apostle said “all things are yours” (1Corinthians 3:21). So, where did the “church rat” mentality come from, where did we get this notion that poverty was equal to righteousness?
Our text shows us a clear picture that we are meant to increase in an all round fashion. We are meant to grow from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord, and take over territories. There are however some steps that must be taken for that to be fulfilled in our lives, and they are all contained in the verse above.
i. God Must Justify You.
It is in the path of the just that we find unending increase. And we can only be justified by the blood of Jesus Christ Himself. This happens when you give your life to Jesus and make Him your Lord and personal Saviour. It is called the born again experience.
ii. Find Your Path In Life.
There is a path called the “the path of righteousness”. It is both the path of right living and the path of destiny. We all have a path we must walk alone in life, and it is that path of doing what is right and standing up for justice and righteousness no matter the cost. It is doing what is right regardless of the number of people doing wrong. That is the first meaning of finding your path. And David put it so nicely; “He leadeth me in the path of righteousness for His Name’s sake”. Psalm 23:3
But there is the path of destiny, the path of your specific assignment. David again called “the path of life” in Psalm 16:11. It is only when you are on your path, your assignment, and purpose etc, that things just keep getting better and better.
Find your path today in Jesus Name.

i. Ask God to take away all forms of unrighteous lifestyle from you.
ii. Ask the Lord to show you your path in life.
iii. Throw your hands in the air and profusely thank Him for your future.

It is only when you are on your path, your assignment, and purpose, that things just keep getting better and better.
