THE GREAT ASSIGNMENT
(Luke 14:21-23 KJV)

BE FRUITFUL
(John 15:16 KJV)
“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you”.
One thing we must come to terms with as believers is the fact that God’s word is progressive in revelation. The word of God can be applied in multiple dimensions as time progresses. The phrase “be fruitful” was first seen and understood in Genesis 1:28 as the fruitfulness of the womb, and many have seen and left it that way. But it couldn’t have been for physical fruitfulness alone; Fruitfulness of the womb was where our initial understanding took us to, but with God’s word, there is always more.
There are not less than five areas of fruitfulness that man must explore and experience.
i. The fruitfulness of the womb. (Biological children).
ii. The fruitfulness of the mind; (Brain child).
iii. Fruitfulness of the hands; (The reward of your labour).
iv. The fruit of the spirit; (Character fruits).
v. The fruit of souls.
The last one is what our scripture text tries to address today. You were chosen to bring forth fruit, you were ordained to be fruitful in terms of souls. God had said we should all produce after our kind, this means that you didn’t just get a soul saved, you went ahead to disciple those souls for the kingdom. You teach and train them, following their progress till they become useful tools in the hands of the Lord as well. When you are this fruitful and productive, God is committed to answering any prayers you make to Him. Be fruitful, be full of fruit of souls in Jesus Name.
Action Points
i. Set a target of how many souls you want to bring to the Lord each month.
ii. Ask the HolySpirit to position you at the right time and at the right places, with the right words in your mouth.
iii. Tell someone about Jesus today without fail and invite someone to the next church Service today without fail.

-Lord please make me fruitful by being a witness for you in Jesus Name.
