YOUR BIGGEST ASSIGNMENT
(Matthew 9:37-38 NKJV)
“Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
Yes, there are many assignments out there, but the greatest and most important of them all is the salvation of souls. Simply because, it is the one reason why God sent His only begotten son Jesus to the earth. Not for any other reason than to pay the ultimate price of dying for our redemption.
Any believer who forgets this is technically a backslider, any Christian who does not understand this is practically a liability to the kingdom, because he would have forgotten the purpose of his salvation in the first place. To exist as a child of God without any feelings for those who seem to be lost and to develop plan to assist in the last-minute harvest of God, is to have lost all sense of eternity, or life after death.
To engage in the last-minute harvest effort of the kingdom, make sure you do the following:
i. Donate yourself in any way possible to make ensure God’s harvest is reaped you’ll godly means. Make your brain, money and gifts available for the harvest of souls.
ii. Devote monies from your income into certain soul winning efforts. Search out all your various soul winning endeavours in your church and become a part of it financially.
iii. Arrange some soul winning efforts along the lines of your gifts. If you are singer or a worship minister, then plan a soul winning event with your gift as a platform for it.
iv. Do not fail to join the church in all her soul winning efforts.
v. Don’t allow colleagues, fellow students and neighbours go to hell right before your very eyes and you do nothing about it.
Action Points/Prayer
-Ask God for enablement to do each of all these five points listed above.
-Take them one by one in prayer.
-Tell someone about Jesus today and invite someone to the next church Service today without fail.
