SUCCEEDING IN LIFE
(1 Corinthians 7:20 KJV)
“Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called”.
It is very difficult to succeed in anything that is not your calling. Success in life is a very impossible task without a knowledge of your calling. The best place to enjoy all kinds of support is in your calling and no where else. You do not know how useless and incapable you are until you begin to operate in any area that is not your calling. It would be very difficult to find one failure if we all know and operated in our callings.
Your first assignment therefore is to seek to know and discover your calling. Your calling is what you were created for. Your calling is that strong inner impulse toward a particular course of action especially when accompanied by conviction of the divine influence of the Holy Spirit. When the knowledge of your calling hits you, you will not be able to escape from it.
But your worst mistake would be to get distracted by other people’s callings. There are times when other people’s callings begin to appear more glamorous and more rewarding than yours, and you may be pressured to attempt those callings. Never make that mistake for any reason. Every calling has its blessings and rewards. If you diligently stick to and service your calling, you will see that God is no respecter of persons. He can give you blessings way much more than those in very visible and maybe “more respectable callings”. Receive grace to stay in your calling today in Jesus Name. You will succeed.
*Action Points*
i. Dedicate yourself to discovering God’s purpose for your life.
ii. Follow the passion and constant nudgings of your heart as you proceed.
iii. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you sensitivity to read the signs to your calling as you travel the journey of life.
Prayer
-Pray all the Points in the action Points.
-Lord please guide me into your calling for my life in Jesus Name.
*Note: Please read the book _“Road Signs To Destiny”_ By Ezekiel Atang.*
