WHY WERE YOU BORN?
(John 18:37 KJV)

Friday 28th March

YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO YOUR ENEMIES SOMETIMES

(Acts 24:5 KJV)
“For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:”

If you pay close attention to the criticisms and accusations of your enemies, you will hear them speak many times of your destiny and tell of things about your life ahead of time. I am of the opinion that our enemies sometimes have a way of catching revelations about our future that makes them become so angry, envious, critical and bitter against us. Sometimes the words they use in describing you will even amaze you. See the words they used in describing Paul. Here is Paul the apostle. Wondering what he had done to deserve this kind of hatred and uproar against him, until he appeared in court to hear the kind of words the Jewish lawyer used to describe him.

Paul was described by Tertulus, who was lawyer to the Jews as a :

1. Pestilent fellow.
Meaning Paul moved and operated the same way dangerous diseases operated. I don’t know about you, but if I am described as a holy pestilent from God, that would be a complement and not a condemnation. If my work is spreading at the same frequency as a wild disease then I must be doing well.

2. He was also described as a mover of sedition.
Forget the sedition, just take note of the word “mover”. It is not a bad thing to be known as a mover. I guess Paul would never have known that about himself but for the accusations of this man. And his impact was described as a world wide one for that matter. A true report from an enemy.

3. Lastly, he was described as ring leader. The word “ring” is not so much an issue as the word “Leader”. If Paul didn’t know before that he was a leader, he knew by the enemy’s accusation that day that he was not just a leader but an effective one.

God had to send Gideon to the enemies camp to hear what they were saying about him, all so that he would be encouraged to fight from a vantage point. Gideon went down to the enemy’s camp to discover that they were afraid of him already. God will soon expose your enemies to you in Jesus Name.

Action Points
i. Receive courage today to serve God, fight for the kingdom and to carry out that project with boldness and audacity.
ii. Kill every fear in your heart from today about any of the enemy’s threat in Jesus Name.

Prayer
-Lord I choose to stand for you in boldness and courage in Jesus Name.
-Lord expose the weaknesses and the fear of my enemies in Jesus Name.

Nugget
If you pay close attention to the criticisms and accusations of your enemies, you will hear them speak many times of your destiny and tell of things about your life ahead of time.
