WISDOM WILL STABILIZE YOU
(Isaiah 33:6 KJV)
“And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure.”
Steady growth, stable development, consistency and even progress are all products of wisdom. The lack of wisdom is always characterized by ups and downs, ons and offs, activity without progress, and activity without result.
-Solomon was a man of wisdom and had stable growth in his kingdom such that he didn’t have to fight one war throughout his reign and not one bullet or arrow was ever fired into Israel during his time. He held Israel together as one nation, by knowing how to handle all the twelve tribes. But his son Rehoboam lost ten tribes to Jeroboam due to wisdom shortage.
In 1Kings chapter 12, the story of how Israel disintegrated into two nations, Israel and Judah is recorded in detail. It was caused by the lack of wisdom. Rehoboam, the son of Solomon did not know how to handle the peoples complain and request. He first met with the counsellors who sat before his father and they gave him a very sound counsel. But he disregarded it and sought counsel from his friends who grew up with him, and that marked the end of the United Israel.
Wisdom demands that you seek for due counsel from qualified and well-tested people over matters of crucial nature so you don’t lose stability. The less mistakes you make, the more progress you will record in your life. Too many mistakes will reduce your speed and progress in life. Seek wisdom for critical and crucial steps and you will be stable, your life and endeavours will be stabilized in Jesus Name.
Action Points
i. Choose a few people you must talk to and whose counsel you must seek before you make any move.
ii. Ask God for the spirit of counsel to manifest in your life.

Nugget
